We actively pursue TM66 excellence by embedding circular economy principles into our products, processes, and project delivery — ensuring sustainability is considered at every stage of the product lifecycle, from specification and manufacture through to installation, ongoing maintenance, repair, refurbishment, re-purpose, and re-deployment.

Through our partnership with Tridonic, a recognised industry leader, we strengthen long-term reliability, performance, and maintainability by specifying high-quality, serviceable components. This supports improved product longevity, reduces premature replacement, and enables practical maintenance strategies over the operational life of the installation — aligning closely with TM66 priorities such as durability, serviceability, and future adaptability.

By prioritising UK supply and manufacture, we improve material traceability and transparency, maintain consistent quality control, and reduce transport-related environmental impacts. This approach also supports more responsive aftercare and lifecycle support, ensuring products can be assessed, maintained, and serviced quickly and effectively. Alongside this, we continue to improve the sustainability of our manufacturing methods by moving away from more resource-intensive subtractive techniques and towards more efficient solutions. For example, we are transitioning from steel gear trays in certain products to extruded aluminium, improving material efficiency, reducing waste, supporting recyclability, and enhancing long-term product performance.

We further enhance circular performance through a dedicated team of on-site repair and re-purpose engineers, helping to keep products in use for as long as possible through inspection, repair, refurbishment, and component replacement where appropriate. This reduces waste, supports better value retention, and minimises the environmental impact associated with full product replacement. A great example of this in action is currently underway at the Bank of New York’s new Northern UK base in Manchester, where our CAT A products are being refurbished and prepared for re-deployment as part of the upcoming CAT B installation, demonstrating our commitment to real-world circularity through reuse and re-purpose strategies.
