Description
The Medusa LED is purpose-built for clean rooms and sterile environments, suitable for both suspended and solid ceiling installations. It features a vandal-resistant micro-prism diffuser, providing excellent mechanical protection while softly diffusing LED light to meet IP65 standards for dust and moisture resistance. Side arm suspensions are included as standard, ensuring a secure and stable installation.
Body
Constructed from 1mm bright steel with a durable white electrostatic powder-coated finish, this fixture is engineered for strength and reliability. The frame, made from 1.5mm (16 SWG) steel, enhances structural rigidity for demanding environments. Rated IP54 on the upper side and IP65 on the lower side as standard, it provides comprehensive protection against dust and moisture. TP(a) rated diffusers are included to ensure safety and compliance with industry standards.

Via a Dimming Interface, the percentage mixture can be adjusted to accomodate different desires by individual Surgeons. The Green mixture also gives the least amount of disturbance when viewing many monitors. Green is also associated with nature and promotes healing and wellness creating a more comforting environment for the patient.
Green Light emitted on our Medusa Theatre Range, is between 500-570nm. This when used with white light reduces eye strain for the surgeons by reducing glare, making it easier on the eyes especially during long procedures. Green Light being present enhances the contrast of Red Blood against Tissue, making it easier for surgeons to see detail and differentiate between various anatomical structures
